STAGE CURTAINS MATERIALS AND COLOURS
Stage curtains can be manufactured from a range of materials and in a large variety of colours. Typically fabrics include velvet velour, wool serge or bright durable polyester materials. Our consultants can advise on the most suitable fabric for your needs. Front of house stage curtains will traditionally be manufactured from flame-retardant (dry-cleanable) velvet, however more cost-effective alternatives are available to suit different budgets. Black stage drapes frequently use unlined plain wool serge or Bolton twill materials for borders, side and rear curtains.
Backdrops and cycloramas can be manufactured from canvas, white filled cloth or sharks tooth gauze. Star cloths are also available in a variety of sizes or can be manufactured to bespoke dimensions upon request.
